This year’s Barnum Festival has a very important focus that perfectly aligns with one of the key values of the City of Bridgeport: Celebrate Youth. We understand that Bridgeport’s children are the future of the city and that supporting them in their education, development and dreams is critical to the continued success of Bridgeport. This mission is a cause especially close to our 2017 Ringmaster—Terry O’Connor. As executive director of the Cardinal Shehan Center and McGivney Community Center, Terry knows the importance of giving our youth the tools and outlets necessary to excel. As leader of the 2017 Barnum Festival, Terry will provide summer camp opportunities in addition to the event’s annual scholarships. Join us as we Celebrate Youth!
