Cigar Night Lights Up the 2023 Barnum Festival

Fire up your cigars and bring your appetite for a prime rib dinner and college basketball at the 15th Final Four Annual Cigar Night to benefit the Barnum Festival April 3rd , starting at 7:30 pm.

John Vazzano, a former Festival Ringmaster (2019), will host the fundraiser at Vazzano’s Four Seasons in Stratford along with his host committee: Larry LaConte, Vincent Noce, Guido and Mickey Picarazzi, Mike Mauzerall, Mike Ranocchia, and Angelo Magliocco.

Minimum Donation is $125 per person. For tickets and more information, call 203-377-3067 or visit the Festival website (www.barnumfestival.org).

The evening will also honor 2023 Ringmaster George Estrada and feature Master of Ceremonies Sean Landeta, NY Giants kicker and two-time Super Bowl winner. On TV, attendees can also enjoy the NCAA championship college basketball game.

“This should be a great night,” Vazzano said. “We’ve been hosting this evening for a long time and it’s something a growing number of people look forward to and continues to get more popular. We have it all – great food and drink, hand-selected cigars, and a championship college basketball game, and great stories from Sean Landeta.”

President of the Barnum Festival, Vazzano has been involved with it for more than 30 years, donating his restaurants for fundraising events and as a volunteer.

“I grew up in the North End of Bridgeport, and the Festival has always been part of my family. It builds so much community spirit throughout the Greater Bridgeport area. It reminds us that we’re all involved in helping each other.”

Estrada pointed out that the Cigar Night is an important event that helps support the Festival, which allows it to provide several free events to the community.

“Events like this support infrastructure for all the free events in the spring that the community can enjoy,” Estrada said. “It engages segments of the area that have different interests, and is a great socializing event for Festival supporters to come together. I can guarantee it will be a lot of fun.”
